ABOUT GERSH ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL

  • Approved secondary program with the ability to administer Regents Exams and SAT's as well as issue valid NYS high school diplomas
  • Vocational training and transition planning

  • Meets the needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

ABOUT SUMMER PROGRAM

Our six week academic summer program provides an exciting and positive experience for students with special needs. This program is designed to prevent regression during the summer months as well as expose students to a variety of recreational summer activities. Academic instruction is provided in a classroom environment by certified special education teachers.

Students enjoy art, music, physical education, computers, weekly academic themes, and ongoing recreational activities. Our program helps students to build confidence, gain acceptance, and develop long lasting friendships.
